AGM Tower Fund-Raising Update

Below is a a short video (20 minutes) from our AGM in July 2022 giving an update on the latest actions concerning the project to repair the Tower and Lychgate.

Successful Art Exhibition - Oct 22

A very successful art exhibition was held at the Church on Oct 28th and 29th. The exhibition had been due to be held in 2021 but had to be postponed because of Covid. However it was finally held this year and we had a record number of entries - over 100! The event contributed funding of around £800 to the Friends of St Laurence charity.

Xmas Tree Festival Competition 2020 Winner!

Many thanks to all those who entered our Xmas Tree Festival Competition. We had lots of creative and festive entries. The overall winner was Helen Sheard of The Green, Blackmore. A photo of her tree and house decorations is shown below. Runners up were:

We look forward to running the competition again in 2021, and seeing if we can have even more entries and lighten up the parish again this Christmas.
